Connection

before starting type your MySQL server + login + password

then choose your database (see Project philosophy : database for everything for creating database)

Database panel

On the principal view, on left you have the database explorer. It is multi tabs :

  • The first one is a hierarchical and intuitive tree view. Father : serie. then trial. then electrode. then oscillation and spiketrain.
  • the second tab, is a flat view of the electrode table. That means all electrode of the table. in this view you have a SQL query zone for filtering the selection of electrodes. by default the view is limited with 10 items.
  • the third one, is a flat view of spiketrain.
  • the forth one is an alternative hierarchical view : spiketrain are attached to an electrode but to a cell. that means that after spike sorting different spiketrain may come from the same cell, so they are grouped in the same cell.

In each view you have a different context menu for different object. For example, for editing spike, deleting element, editing fields...
